Fun Things To-Do During Quarantined Halloween

Fun Things To-Do During Quarantined Halloween

Halloween this year will bring nothing but a bunch of surprises. Not only is it on a Saturday but there will be a rare full blue moon. Although, with the Coronavirus still a major conflict in America, there’s not a lot for people to do to celebrate this “once in a blue moon” holiday. Luckily, here is a list of COVID-19-approved Halloween activities that will keep you entertained.

Bake Halloween Cookies

This one is easy, affordable and will leave your house smelling delicious. A simple Google search will give you thousands of recipes and ideas for spooky designed cookies. Delish.com offers “42 Halloween Cookies To Bring To Any Hallow’s Eve Party”. My favorite ones are the “Day of the Dead Cookies” because I love the shape and the “Halloween Cookie Cake” because it already has my mouth watering (https://www.delish.com/holiday-recipes/halloween/g2981/halloween-cookies/). Yeahhhh

Have a Ghost Photoshoot

If you’re really bored during Halloween I know the right trend for you. Grab a pair of sunglasses and a white bed sheet. Then put the sheet over your body, poke some eyeholes in it, put your glasses on, and boom, you’re a ghost. Now you and your homies can have a fun little photo shoot. Go to the woods or into your local 7/11 and just have fun taking pictures.

Regardless of COVID, I am sure carving pumpkins was already on your list of Halloween activities. So, spend more time mastering your pumpkin carving skills and staying safe. An article written by Woman’s Day offers “60+ Genius Pumpkin Carving Ideas for Halloween,” with a ton of great designs.

If your eligible to vote, make sure you go do it on Halloween! Voting places will still be open so, go and find the nearest polling place and make your voice heard. Voting is a privilege that a lot of other citizens in counties do not have. So, go out in your wildest costume and exercise your rights!
